An afternoon retreat on a sunny lakeshore.
It's
amazing how different the varied microclimates can be in any given location.
Yesterday, the woods surrounding Bierstadt Lake were cool and drippy
with snowmelt from Thursday night's storm. However, the sandy beach
next to the lake was actually hot! I sat down there with my back
against a log, meditated, and journaled. What a wonderful way to spend
the afternoon!
