and resurrection are a prominent motif in our Colorado mountains.
Greyrock Meadow - shown in this photo - burned in the Hewlett Fire
exactly two years ago. The fire ended up charring about 7600 acres.
Because the fire provided a sizable dose of fertilizer when it turned
the forest floor debris to ash, pasqueflowers in the area are now more
prolific than ever!
