On the first day of Spring, I discovered this
Pasqueflower blooming in the ash and blackened needles of a burn that
occurred exactly a year ago. I'm expecting a bumper crop of
pasqueflowers this year because of the added shot of "fertilizer" added
by all of our recent forest fires!
