Today
the newly-bloomed pasqueflowers are enduring several inches of fresh
snowfall. But after weathering many millennia of fickle March days,
they are admirably prepared for it! With their fur-like coating, hollow
stems and the capacity to close up at night and during inclement
weather, pasqueflowers seem to treat these storms as mere "business as
usual."
