I
found this Limber Pine growing out of a crack in a boulder with just a
bit of soil for nourishment. It reminded me to spend time in solitude,
where there doesn't seem to be much of any substance happening, at least
not in the way of exciting events. In solitude, there is a simplicity
that teaches us to sink our roots down into our innermost being where
the water of life lies waiting in silence, hiddenness and secrecy.
