Oftentimes we feel embarrassed or ashamed about the flaws or holes that are present in our character - the crumbly parts of our personality where the difficulties of life have begun to erode our sense of dignity. However, the beauty of arches and windows carved by wind and water in natural rock layers reminds us that those holes are actually windows through to the majesty of the Divine Sky. As Leonard Cohen says: "There is a crack in everything. That's how the light gets in." Only an awareness of our flaws is capable of propelling us to make a journey into the vast sacredness opening up deep, deep within us :)
