Sometimes
I can hardly believe the beauty of Fall! Yesterday, hiking in Rocky
Mountain National Park, I watched spellbound as the clouds played upon
the peaks while gold and orange Aspen leaves shimmied in the breeze.
A hike up to Cub Lake - through the burn that occurred two years ago - revealed beautiful gold mixed amongst the blackened trunks.
And the bugling of the bull elk in the chilly evening air - a sort of cross between a squeaky hinge and an elephant call - elicited in me a feeling of wildness and nostalgia. What a day!
